All Students Boys Lacrosse Lower Field Fri 2 Aug 3.30 - 5.30pm LAI
  MAGS Boys Lacrosse are looking for new or experienced players of all levels to represent MAGS. Beginners are welcome and there is some gear available.

Former MAGS lacrosse captain, Sam Nash, has just returned from playing 2 seasons of lacrosse in USA, and will be running MAGS boys lacrosse training / teaching sessions after school every Friday from 3.30pm - 5pm on the lower fields.
Brings boots and a drink.
 
The aim is to take a build a MAGS boys lacrosse team to be able to compete in the NZ Secondary Schools Lacrosse Tournament in 2025.
there may also be opportunities for games against Rosmini and Westlake.

Please note if you register to play in term four, you are expected to commit and be available for all games. The term four season goes for 6 weeks for most grades.

Sam and his father have been working behind the scenes to organise a Boys Auckland Secondary Schools Tournament between MAGS, Rosmini, Westlake & Pukekohe

All Students MAGS Black Caps CRS
  Applications are now open for any student who wishes to apply for a Black Cap. Black Caps are for students who have represented New Zealand in a MAGS sanctioned sport. If you believe you are eligible please complete the below link:

All Students Orchestra Open Rehearsals COO
  If you play an orchestral instrument (strings, wind, brass) you are warmly invited to join the MAGS Orchestra. We are open to students of all abilities for the rest of the year. There are parts to suit everyone (from beginner to advanced). We rehearse in E10 on Tuesdays and Fridays at 7.30am.

Seniors only Bio Olympiad competition DUN
  Those interested in doing the Biology Olympiad competition can register by coming to the science office for a permission slip and paying $40 to finance office.
This programme fosters interest, participation, and excellence in biology. The programme provides University level education in Biology to those students selected to participate in the online tutorial programme.
The initial two hour supervised online exam is on  27st of August. 
From this exam, students are selected for the NZIBO tutorial programme.
The registration fee is $40 this year. Registration is FREE for Māori and Pasifika tauira in special programmes e.g. Pūhoro STEMM, Whakapiki Ake and others (indicate this on your permission slip).
