  Enter the 2024 MAGS Art Show! This year’s theme is ‘Light and Shade’ – there are plenty of awesome prizes to be won and you can sell your work for $$ with heaps of Professional Artists! All entry details are on our Google Classroom – just fill in the form then upload your artwork (or hand it to your teacher!) and you’re set.   If you are keen to enter the Gymsport Championships for Artistic, Rhythmic, Trampoline & Tumbling on Thursday 13th June at Pulman Recreation Centre, Takanini - please contact the Sports Dept - sports@mags.school.nz

Entries close on 29th May - you must be part of a club to be able to enter, the cost to enter is $45 per discipline.

 		  
All Students Lacrosse Boys JHN
  Boys Lacrosse 

There are free Boys Lacrosse sessions on Monday evenings 6pm - 8pm at Nixon Park, Kingsland. Beginners welcome. Brings boots and a drink. All other gear will be available, if needed.

The goal is to train and select a MAGS boys team to compete at the NZ Secondary Schools Lacrosse Tournament later this year. There may also be opportunities for "Battle of the Bridge" games against players/teams from Auckland's North Shore.

All Students Ngā Manu Kōrero Māori Speech School Competition PAL
  Kia ora! Calling out to all of our Māori students... If you are interested in speeches and are keen to compete in our upcoming school competition in Week 5, please email Whāea Miri at wpaul@mags.school.nz to register your interest and/or get more information.

There are four sections; Junior Māori, Junior English, Senior Māori and Senior English.

All Students NO ENTRY THROUGH MARIST SCHOOLS SWK
  If you walk down Alberton Avenue do not walk through Marist primary or Marist College on your way to or from school. This is private property and is frustrating teachers and staff at this Primary school as they must ask MAGS student to turn around (damage was recently made to one of their gardens). Students will face consequences for future incidents. Do the right thing.

Juniors only Junior Artists Collaboration Project GNT
  MAGS Art Show Leader, Emelia is looking for 50 Junior students who are keen to be super creative with a 10cmx10cm square that will be pieced together to make a larger work to be exhibited at the 2024 MAGS Art Show.   All senior students who are confident in their year 11 math knowledge are wanted to come help at the Wednesday period 5 math clinic and tutor any students who are seeking a bit of help.
