All Students Musical Theatre Group Sign-ups PA3 Thu 9 May 3:30-5pm HGH
  MAGS Musical Theatre Group is starting up for 2024! This group is open to any students who are keen and willing to strengthen their skills in dance, singing and acting. We meet every Thursday after school to learn musical items. At the end of the term, we will have a musical theatre showcase. You'll need to come along to the auditions to join the group, so come along next Thursday to PA3 from 3:30-5pm.

All Students Word! The Frontline E15 Thu 9 May 1:30 WOL
  The Word! The Frontline Heat is coming up on Tuesday 14th May.

As such, this week there is a compulsory meeting on THURSDAY at lunchtime to have a run through of all the poems [in whatever state that they are in]. This will give you a chance to 'read' in front of an audience. If you want feedback before then, arrange a time to meet Mrs Woodall via email.

 
Seniors only University of Waikato Info Session Library Green Room Thu 9 May 1:30 JER
  Are you interested in studying at the University of Waikato? Come along to an info session this Thursday at lunch in the library. The University of Waikato is one of our fastest growing universities with the most affordable halls of residence. It has excellent programmes in Business, Law, Engineering, Health and more. There is even a Bachelor of Climate Change. This session is open to both Year 12s and Year 13s.

  The Chesspower Cluster tournament will be held on 6 June 2024 at Mount Roskill Grammar School.

All Students NO ENTRY THROUGH MARIST SCHOOLS SWK
  If you walk down Alberton Avenue do not walk through Marist primary or Marist College on your way to or from school. This is private property and is frustrating teachers and staff at this Primary school as they must ask MAGS student to turn around (damage was recently made to one of their gardens). Students will face consequences for future incidents. Do the right thing.

 
 
All Students The Leaders of Tomorrow PEH
  Registrations for The Leaders of Tomorrow, youth civic engagement forum is open! Occurring on Monday the 13th of May, learn how you can have your voice heard in the local community and how you can develop your skills as a leader. The local Minister of Mount Albert, Helen White, will be our guest speaker and speak to her journey as a leader and answer any questions.

The event will be occurring in the Gibbs Staff Room from 2:15pm with light refreshments provided. If you are looking to be a future leader at MAGS next year, or want to learn how you can engage in the community, be sure to register by next week Thursday (9th) at 12pm.
