  It might be a short week, but Spelling Club will still be on next week! As there is no Tuesday, we will be meeting on Wednesday instead. Come along for some spelling fun and your chance to earn prizes. If you're a junior and keen to compete in the National Spelling Bee later this year, this is the club for you. See you then!

Lincoln is located outside of Christchurch and specialises in agriculture and horticulture but also has great programmes in Business, Tourism, Landscape Architecture and Sports and Recreation.   If you have registered to join a football team this season and you have not yet purchased a football uniform, please make sure you visit the Lions Den early so you don't miss out.

Please keep an eye on the Daily Notices after Easter weekend. We will let you know when football teams will be displayed on the noticeboard by the Grandstand.

Football season starts:
Boys : Saturday, 11 May - all grades except for Premier, Senior A & 14A1

  For any student (Boys and Girls) who is new to playing rugby for the school this year, you must complete an online NZ Rugby Registration form at the below link:

Information:

• The Term 2 Table Tennis competition will run on Friday nights.
• You can enter A1, A2, B, C or D Grade, to suit your ability and experience.

• A1 Grade runs from May 10 to August 16
• Games are played on Friday 6.00pm - 8.15pm at Auckland Table Tennis Stadium, Epsom.

• A2, B, C and D Grades from May 10 to July 5
• Friday 3.45pm - 6.00pm Auckland Table Tennis Stadium, Epsom
**A2 Grade plays Friday 6.00pm - 8.15pm at ATTS.

  The school Tennis Championships will start on Wednesday 27 March - All matches will be after school on the MAGS Tennis courts -

Wednesday 27 March – Intermediate/Senior Singles

Thursday 11 April - spare day 

Singles entries are open for MAGS Tennis players that have represented MAGS during Term 1 2024 only

Juniors only Under 15 Boys Hockey Trials CRS
  There will be trials on the tennis courts on Wednesday 3rd and 10th April from 3:30pm to 5pm, for any boy that wants to be considered for the Under 15 Boys Hockey Team this year. Please see Mr Keshoor for further details

  The Senior Cross Country for students from Year 11 to 13 will be taking place during Period 5 on Tuesday 9th April.
