All Students Boys Lacrosse Lower Field Fri 2 Aug 3.30 - 5.30pm LAI
  MAGS Boys Lacrosse are looking for new or experienced players of all levels to represent MAGS. Beginners are welcome and there is some gear available.

Former MAGS lacrosse captain, Sam Nash, has just returned from playing 2 seasons of lacrosse in USA, and will be running MAGS boys lacrosse training / teaching sessions after school every Friday from 3.30pm - 5pm on the lower fields.
Brings boots and a drink.
 
The aim is to take a build a MAGS boys lacrosse team to be able to compete in the NZ Secondary Schools Lacrosse Tournament in 2025.
there may also be opportunities for games against Rosmini and Westlake.

  The final Spelling Club of the year will be on this coming Tuesday. Come and celebrate the year of spelling that was! If you want to bring some kai to share, please do.

 
Juniors only Spelling Bee Practice 🐝 E11 Tue 10 Sep 1:30pm BRW
  We will hold a Spelling Bee practice for those of you in the semi-finals on Tuesday at lunch. We will run it like the semi-final to help you prepare.

  Are you planning to study at the University of Auckland in 2025? MAGS is hosting student advisors and faculty staff on Wednesday after school to help you plan your degree.   If you have excelled at your chosen sport/s this year and believe you should be considered as a nominee at the College Sport Young Sports of the Year function in November, please complete the below link:

Please check the list of sports, that you are able to be considered for. Please note these are for the top sports awards in Auckland Secondary Schools Sport, so your ability must reflect this.

Please note by completing this link, it does not guarantee you will be nominated by the sports department. Details will be checked by the sports department before they submit nominations to College Sport. College Sport have the final say on whether students are short listed.

Please note if you register to play in term four, you are expected to commit and be available for all games. The term four season goes for 6 weeks for most grades.

 
 
All Students MAGS Black Caps CRS
  Applications are now open for any student who wishes to apply for a Black Cap. Black Caps are for students who have represented New Zealand in a MAGS sanctioned sport. If you believe you are eligible please complete the below link:

Year 13 Engineering at The University of Auckland - Māori and Pasifika KGN
  For those that are interested in engineering calculus is crucial. Apollo is offering a revision programme for 5 days for NCEA Level 3 Calculus. All 3 standards will be revised.

The dates are: 7th to 11th October and it is FREE for students of Māori and/or Pasifika descent to attend the 5-day programme. It will be held on City Campus, The University of Auckland OR you could choose to attend the South Campus, Manukau at the same time.
