The Chinese Cultural Group is looking for new students to join our group this year!

  As you have heard in the assemblies, Relay for Life is fundraising for Cancer society. The main event is 6th of April at AUT Stadium, Mairangi Bay, North Shore. Come and learn more about the event and how to sign up – Tue 20th February in the Hall at lunchtime.

  Kia ora koutou, are you interested in promoting Te Ao Māori at MAGS? This could include promoting Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2024, advocating for ākonga Māori and learning more about other kaupapa. There are a number of roles required and they are open to any student who whakapapa Māori.

Seniors only Māori & Pasifika Science Study Space CS3 Mon 19 Feb 3.15-4.15 WLR
  Kia ora! Talofa lava! Bula vinaka! Are you a Y12 or Y13 Māori or Pasifika student studying science? You are welcome to attend our after school study space in CS3 on Monday after school (3.15-4.15pm). Bring your homework or personal study to work on. Snacks are provided and there will be science teachers there to answer your questions.

 
Year 9 Year 9 Art Club for Boys and Girls E3 Thu 15 Feb 1:35pm LND
  Come along to E3 at the start of lunch this Thursday the 15th of Feb, to hear about and sign up for Year 9 Art Club for Boys and Girls. This group will be held every week in E3 on Thursday lunchtimes. Over the year we will make drawings, paintings and create a mural.

  Our Finance Department is taking last orders for The Albertian 2023, which will be available by mid-2024.
The yearbook contains a full wrap-up of last year including Academia, Arts, Service and Sports reports and photos as well as formal class photos – and much more!
It can be delivered to Year 13 students, rather than picked up from MAGS, for a small extra cost.

  We have the Auckland Schools Mountain Biking cross country race series starting on Sunday 3rd March at Riverhead, the full list of events and venues are on the MAGS grandstand.

Also entries are open for the North Island MTB Championships in Rotorua - 17th - 19th March - XCO / Enduro and DH.

  2024 Junior Girls MAGS Internal Netball Competition and Y9 & Y10 Winter Netball Trial Registration

We are going to run an after school internal MAGS combined trial and competition for Year 9 and Year 10 students in Term 1 for girls.

From this competition all Yr 9 and Yr 10 girls will be placed into teams for the Winter League Competition held at Auckland Netball Centre. JUNIOR GIRLS must REGISTER to trial if they want to play netball this season for MAGS.Registration link: https://forms.gle/6dDNRyCCaGRqUzX19

The competition will run on MONDAYS after school. Dates: Monday 19 & 26 February, March 4, 11, 18 and 25th,
