All Students Orienteering MUR
  If you are interested in joining the Orienteering team or even just learning more about the sport, a meeting will be held on Thursday, 8 February at lunchtime in G3 (classroom beside the Grandstand). It’s a great opportunity to try something new and meet a new group of people. Anyone is welcome, no year level or previous experience required!

All Students Premier Boys Basketball Trial CWT
  Open trial for Premier Boys Basketball team Friday 9 February 3.30-5.00pm GYM2.

This is a an open trial for the boys premier side only. Trials for other grades will be later in the term. If you have summer sporting commitments that comes first but please email dcartwright@mags.school.nz to let me know if you are not able to make this first open invitation.

  The School Athletics Day is taking place on Wednesday 21st February at Mount Smart Stadium.

Juniors only Junior Netball Registration & Trials LAI
  2024 Junior Girls MAGS Internal Netball Competition and Y9 & Y10 Winter Netball Trial Registration

We are going to run an after school internal MAGS combined trial and competition for Year 9 and Year 10 students in Term 1 for girls. From this competition all Yr 9 and Yr 10 girls will be placed into teams for the Winter League Competition held at Auckland Netball Centre.

JUNIOR GIRLS must REGISTER to trial if they want to play netball this season for MAGS.

The competition will run on MONDAYS after school.
Dates: Monday 19 & 26 February, March 4, 11, 18 and 25th,
On April 8th all teams are selected and you will meet with your coaches (except yr 10/1 &Yr 10/2)

Time: 3. 3.30PM-5.00PM
Cost: $10 per player (this cost is non-refundable and will be charged to your student account upon registration).

Note all MAGS Junior Netball teams train Monday’s 3.30pm-4.45pm throughout the season at school
